A New Imperial Soft Red, found all over England, produced at various brickworks up and down the country.

A soft textured brick, can be smooth faced or with slight creasing on the face. Colours vary from orange to dark red. Sometimes known as Red Rubbers due to the ability to rub brick by hand into ornate shape.

New Imperial Soft Reds/Red Rubbers are sought after for decorative, conservation and restoration use and for additions where the new build will mirror the original. They are often used for face work and feature work i.e. above & around windows & doorways. Ideal for work to period properties where consistency in colour, texture and size is important. Not suitable for paving.
